ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So without Bozanic playing we seem to play a lot better?

discuss

I believe Bozanic was originally used to strengthen a weak halves pairing along side Stens. At the start of last season we were still shaky down the middle. this has now changed because of game-time of the Halves, the amount of time for the pairings. There's now a change in how teams approach us, i.e from the wings, and at set-plays, this means the DM no longer needs to be as defensive as it once was and has to become alot more transitional and noting the loss of Stens OS, Bozanics is probably feeling he is forced to assist the Centre Half pairings even more so, even though the pairs are now sound.

That's my take, maybe I'm looking in to it too much

Crowd of 3086 made a lot of noise especially when Gauci flattened Urena. It took a long time to break them down but the replacement keeper did well for them and their defence was well organised.

Patience paid off and when Miller came on our tempo ramped up and their legs became rubbery. Windust and Dan kept Toure quiet and Nizzy ran the show. Also Ballard with less pressure on him after the send off showed some attacking nous with switches of play.
