Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tell me about it….

Our tickets to tonight’s game are still on the kitchen countertop unused after my 87 year old Mother sadly passed away overnight.

I messaged Monty before the game to apologise for not being able to be there to get behind the boys and he promised that they would win it for her.

I would like to think that she was looking down on the game from on high, as she knew how much we have loved this club since day one.

Suddenly, one of the worst days of my life seems a little brighter, thank you CCM. ??
Sorry for your loss

I think my heart rate is finally settling down. Stressful game, bit of luck but clearly the better team even after a month out. Fingers crossed for a CCS final. Hopefully that gives us time to hit full fitness first. I’m not sure Victory and Wellington can play their until 1/2 - which would be right after their regular season game as has been the way it’s played out many times so far this cup run.

Condolences to you and your family Oz.

Makes tonight’s win more special.

Football gods certainly smiled on us tonight, but on balance we were the better team, tremendous effort by everyone.
Now let’s get some Silverware. At home!!!

Thoughts to you. My 84 year old mother passed away last week. Haven't been paying attention to much till I woke up this morning and saw this result. Brings a smile to our faces that our moms would want.

Cracking win by Monty & the lads. I’d like to think our heroics have opened people’s eyes to the FFA Cup.

After a month with no football action, you can feel the embrace of the Mariner’s faithful.

Maybe our shot at glory will encourage old fans to once again return to Gosford in the future.

At the very least, it’s a reward for the rusted-on, diehard supporters.

Sensational win!!!
So happy for Monty and and the boys.
A big f**k you!! to Wilko, Caceres, Budgie, Redmayne and all the others that write us off.

Macca was great tonight too, but Simon Hill with his "Redmayne almost saved the penalty"made me laugh. Mate he got f**king nutmegged from a spotkick you tosser.

& is Van der Sagg the 2nd worst A league footballer ever just behind Reuben Zadkovic?...

A fortunate penalty call and getting a second goal to ice the cake and silence the naysayers would've been ideal BUT-

Great performance from the squad considering yet another match on the road and the setbacks of the past month. Great feeling to be into a final again and it's sinking in right now that CCM are just a game away from silverware- a feeling I haven't experienced since April 2013.

My only hope now is that the final is played either in Gosford or somewhere within a day's journey by road/ rail for our supporters. Provided either is the case, count me in!
