ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hatch has an unbelievable engine but i think hes a big shaky defensively. Think a left footed Millar (snake). Love to see him get a shot higher up the pitch
Yes Yes and No. Very fit and very fast but huge question mark defensively especially when things don't go his way. Really needs to keep his focus and not get discouraged too easily. Absolutely no way should he play further up the pitch. Still have memories of 2019 NPL when Hatchy was having a brilliant season (at left back). Going in to the last game of the season, the winner of CCM v Northern Tigers would make the semis. We were unbeaten in our previous 5 games with an unchanged side for 5 weeks. For the last game, at Staj's request, Monty switched Hatch to an attacking LM/LW role and he was completely lost and we missed the attacking impetus he gave us when starting his runs from deep. He was frustrated and it disrupted our game. Also didn't help that Monty was forced to bring DRD back for that game (again Staj's request) - hadn't played for 5 weeks (during our unbeaten run) and had a shocker. We lost, missed promotion and missed the semis. Thankfully Monty learned from that and last year didn't play Hatch further forward at all.

I agree. Any team (or ref) can be a banana skin and the cows certainly have the cattle.

That said, there is no reason we can't beat them and again it's ours to lose. Would have been good to have Stens back but I think we'll get the job done

Unfortunately can't get to the game so will have to watch later on Kayo. Enjoy all you lucky ducks who get to go along!

Leading in, we know we can and should beat them. Which is always a very different kind of mental test for a team that for most of its season so far, has had the mindset of the under dogs full of grit who won’t back down...

Success destroys a lot of teams. Some only need a little and they unravel, many win a season and then struggle badly the next, some few, seem to keep it and make winning their culture.

I think we have the leadership on the park and togetherness to keep fighting with 110% every game. Do that and we’ll always be tough to beat. And win or lose I can take it.

But the key today, is the same level of high intensity effort. Matched by high intensity concentration - especially in defence. And lastly higher quality execution. Particularly in controlling the ball/game and finishing our chances.

Do that and we have too much for the meth cows. (Methcowthur?)

Come on you pink!!

It was Louis Khoury (who had a few mins off the bench in first grade at the end of last season as an AM) that started left back, and Hatch that came on to replace him.
Thanks for that, I imagine from what I saw he could be an effective AM. Is there anywhere I can find a list of players names against numbers. It would be handy for the next time I attend, to know who it is who impresses me?
