Anything but clinical. Was very amateurish tbh. I’m sure the uneven pitch didn’t help but the heading was also very poor.

You just can’t afford to waste any where near that many chances.

Ziggy, Duric, Tonyik (20 min cameo) were the only starting 11 players to get a run.

Thought Esposito went ok at RB

He got better as the game went on and made one good covering tackle late in the game but was doing a Storm Roux on their goal. Only Ziggy got a pass mark from me (out of the back 4) and he did very poorly on their goal as well.
Esposito, Miller and Hatch all have potential but are not HAL level atm imho.

Just Hingston with any Rangers links from the match. 2 Launceston City and 1 Riverside Olympic were in the side.

I can't remember what rating I meant but it probably wasn't optimistic. My PC has died and my fat fingers are having trouble on the mobile.

Late to the party, watched the game to night. The quality is gradually lifting and as it does it starts to show up the weaker or less consistent players. I thought Melling's turnover rate was abysmal, i usually like him but definitely sub standard on this occasion. I liked the new right back triallist worked hard and played as a proper right back, thank god we got shot of mcging this guy actually holds his position and knows what to do. Murray got himself in some great positions but didn't finish a number of chances he should have taken. I was very impressed with Nisbet, think he's got some great development ahead og him. Majok really really needs to work on his first touch, HAL teams will punish him for being that loose. Weemac looks really fit and it's lifted his game a lot, he was shit last season but is now looking like he could be a starter, to my disgust!

Overall i think the team is lifting and coming together well, quietly confident Staj is the right man for the mariners. A first rate striker will make a massive difference, lets hope there is still a signing to come...

Quality of the stream on youtube is excellent - we can see Simon missing that free header very clearly. Without Duric and/or Kim we look horrible. Esposito playing the snake role at RB and over lapping whenever he can
