But there is the problem you have identified ........ he doesn’t see himself as a “squaddie” or aspiring to be a “squaddie” ............... you admit he has to get his head right ???? as indicated by his body language........... being so diabolical during games.
He has missed his chance. There are too many players coming through now that have their heads right and deserve the chance he was given.
There are not enough seats on the bus so .......... under he has to go .

Let’s all not forget that Hoole was the player that failed to show up for training after one of Oklic’s fabled mini-breaks, which resulted in him being benched for a week (or should that be weak?) - At the time I thought he should have been frozen out for longer or kept on the bench as an unused sub to send a clear message but we all know how poor Okon was at instilling discipline don’t we?

Hoole has a lot of ground to make up due to his disrupted pre-season and it will be interesting to see if he follows Gamiero’s example by just digging in and working even harder.

I’m thinking we are about 4 weeks behind in preseason. We are still getting game minutes in all players and haven’t started playing with a firm starting 11. It could take us about a month for our first team to click. Sydney has been playing that squad minus Buhagiar we in week out in cup games etc.

Pretty much "The 2nd eleven" with a couple of strengtheners. Acceptable result.

That was a great result considering a deflected free kick for the first. Line up of 5 youngsters and a full bench has shown they are a league quality against a team much more match fit and a first 11 from the defending premiers.
