Mariners squad HAL 10 ~ 2014/15

He was looking pretty sharp by the end of the season. If he's the first-picked #10 this year I won't be at all surprised. Lots of potential there.

I hope we sign some guys soon so they get a full pre-season. It would be a downer to sign them late and waste the first few rounds getting in step with the squad.

I agree with this comment.

He showed mental willingness to fight for and get after the ball, but seemed physically unfit. Only biggest issue is he is far from the best technically gifted player we've had at that position, but then again considering some of the other lads we've had line up behind our striker/s over the years it isn't too much of an issue.

That's exactly right, good or not, he should be judged on his own qualities, or lack of same, rather than his father's commentating skills - or lack of same. At this point, we've probably got a couple of guys to start there before him anyway, so give him a chance to develop....

This, although Kim is technically a left winger as well ;)

Wouldn't mind seeing them try something drastic, like:

Fitz - Trifiro - Kim maybe...
Agree, think you will also see alot of the Fitz - Trifiro -Kim pairing

SOCCER - FC Emmen from Tuesday two midfielders on trial, Joran Pot and Jurjan Mannes. Both players are currently clubs and thus transfer free of charge.
The 25-year-old Kitty, born in Heino, is a midfielder who can also in defense of the feet. He went through the youth academy of FC Twente played for RBC Roosendaal, PEC Zwolle and Go Ahead Eagles. With Zwolle Pot was in season 2011/2012 champion in the first division. "We want Joran at work as a midfielder, as should certainly gain get there. With the three players we have now is the rinse too thin," said Gall.

Jurjan Mannes (Groningen, January 26, 1992) began his football career at VUC in The Hague, only to end up. Almelose via Oranje Nassau at FC Twente At Twente he developed well and he came out in the top youth teams. However, a breakthrough in the main power remained off. Fortuna Sittard kept. In Limburg he came in the 2012/2013 season on loan from. Last season he played his matches at FC Twente. Gall: "Mannes we had been on trial, but at the time we chose Frank Olijve."

FC Emmen is already negotiating with defender Marcel Seip, who wants to continue his career in Drenthe. But before the deal is done, Seip must first get approval from his current club in Australia (Central Coast Marines), where he is under contract for two more years.

Let him go ... with the money this would free up we could offer weeJudas a deal from the start of the season rather than 01/01/15...

Seip to go......Beauchamp in? Seems pretty set if he gets an offer. As far as central defenders goes we have Boz, Ando and Griff Jr only if Marcel stays in Holland?
Think Beauchamp went to indoneasia or somewhere similar

Thailand for RTT Rayong

good get rid of seive & maby even use the money to offer more money 2 weemac:popcorn:

I personally dont want Weemac here if he doesnt want to play for us, last thing we need is disharmony in the squad

As much as i'd love to see Beauchamp back at the club I question the purpose, we already have Bosnar, Anderson and Griffiths, unless we have a pairing of Bosnar and Beauchamp with Anderson on the bench. Can any of these 4 play LB or RB, Griffiths maybe?

If Seip goes i'm sure Mossy will bring in another centre back. I think he will want 2 players for every pozzie, unless the likes of Morton, Neill etc could cover there? I would bet anything on Boz getting suspended at some point and that would leave just Ando and Griff. I was just guessing MB but if he's gone overseas then we'll see what happens. I think he would like someone else with a bit of experience.
