ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

so the national competition gets canned for a friendly that only maybe 2 or 3 a-league players will be involved with?

fair enough!

not only a friendly but also the uzbekistan world cup qualifier midweek

and if there were a couple of mariners players involved (like players we lost season) then you would probably have a different attitude

for too long there has been a reluctance by clubs to release their players for international duty and international weekends are both welcome and important for national teams

Dutch goal was an awesome finish. No chance for the keeper.

Not sure that was a red card or even inside the box TBH but who cares.

Quality header for the winner

Oh my Gold. What a marathon of matches.

I started with the Scotland vs Macedonia match, then Georgia vs Republic of Ireland, then a little nap, before waking up just in time for our Socceroos, and then finished with watching Italy scrape through by the b*lls of their ar*e against Cyprus
at 8am this morning.  :pirashoot:  :tv:

Currently, I am walking around, bumping into wall - need a big nana nap this afternoon.  :headbutt:

Fantastic game by the Socceroos, hope we can replicate on Thursday morning.
Josh Kennedy is a legend.  :pirashoot: :eek:verhead:

* Dutch goal was good, made possible by a very hard cut cross, off the goal line brilliantly executed.
* Our first goal. Dutch put themselves into the predicament by a poor goal kick. Probable red given there was no defence within metres of Kennedy. Kinda similar to the penalty Bozza gave away last week for the Mariners?
* Good low speed, but high,  pass into Kennedy for the second goal.
* I am happy to be heading to the TAB soon, to pick up the spoils of $7-50 odds!!!! :vhappy:
