ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Rosey knows a thing or two about how a LB should perform. If he's with the club at least we finally have a specialist LB coach to clean up that area of the team

seriously though, Monty is untried at this level but his combo of attributes fills me with confidence.
He really does have the work ethic that is the bare minimum for a team like ours, and everything else he needs from there. I know some of the Academy youth and they rate his man management big time, which is one of the few points I haven't seen discussed on here yet. They love him.

I honestly can’t see him ballsing it up, he has too much ambition, honesty and work ethic. Given what Staj was able to do with the team last season, I can only see Nick taking things further in an upward direction this time around.
Monty will readily admit he was not the most technically blessed, especially in the context of Sheffield United, but he had an incredible work ethic as a player that seems to have continued as a manager.

He will also be brutally honest with the young guys and tell them that they need to work hard not only as footballers but in their education. He instills in players that it is their choice to be there and that hard work is needed, but also doesn't sugar coat that only a fraction will make it in the professional game.

As long as work ethic doesn't preclude work/life balance and ability to delegate.

There is no such think as a LB coach. We have NEVER had a specalist defensive coach so I'm not sure what you are drinking tonight Waspish to think we might employ 11 specialist coaches??
