Victory v Heart

So foxsports seem like they're pumping the fans for a massive "rivalry" this weekend at the AAMI Stadium derby between Victory & Heart.

I get the gut feeling they're wanting it to end in rival fans coming to blows. Seriously hope this doesn't turn to shit, definitely not what the A-League needs right now!

Should be a good derby game to watch, but knowing those crowds in Melb, guessing there will be a few flares let off!! :-((

I think its fantastic! A sell out fixture is EXACTLY what the HAL needs right now.
I love our f3 derby - but this is the leagues, first true big derby. And the sell out confirms it.
I hope the players are incredibly fired up and that it has the drama we have been seeing of late.

I also think its important we see goals from both sides. And that Heart must fight well beyond what they have shown so far.
A tight game or Heart winning would be ideal I think as it would help see this phenomenon continue, whereas a flogging by MV might kill off some of its future appeal.

I agree with the game aspect of things FP & would love to be there as I reckon it'll be a blinder of a game, but more to the fans side of things... think things could get a little out of hand. Melb football fans have been known in the past to be quite rowdy... this is the negative side to the game I worry about and the bad publicity that may ensue!!
