ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I wasn't - Pat Farmer was always a moderate. The Coalition has been going further and further right. The Teals for the most part are moderate liberals. The party moved - they didn't.
100% this. The Libs moved right in a centrist country. Turnbull proved you can be a traditional liberal and the crazies will preference you anyway.
Sadly, as any moderates get picked off the crazies are in charge

Peta Credlin and Andrew Bolt felt that Dutton should have pushed harder on the" culture wars"-they have totally misread the Australian electorate.

Hopefully the Libs turn back to the centre, they had become a populist hard right party, which will get less and less support...

Watched an interview with an older state Lib state minster very early this morning, and he said the party structure is in a state of destress ... they need new members and new people to represent the party....

Effectively and he said for a few years now, the structure and membership base are out of touch with the broader community.... meaning policies and members chosen to represent them are drifting away from the centre and towards slogans rather than developed policies .... until they fix the structural issues they will keep drifting further to the right....

In summary a new leader to move the party back to the centre and rebuild the local branches and get new members is needed...

As an aside 9 was claiming this morning it had the best coverage... the rating had ABC more than double 7 & 9 rating with 7 out performing 9... so the media is also a great example of slogan over actual..
