ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A couple of updates have gone up this week:

Pics are up from round 1 in Melbourne, and some from round 2 against Adelaide. New pics will be put up throughout the season.

Referee Points Table

The referee points table is a way for us to see how well referees are going in comparison to each other, in the same way we can see how well our A-League team is going every week.

Points are awarded to each referee based on how many fouls, yellow and red cards they award. The points are calculated as 1 point for every foul, 10 points for a yellow card, and 30 points for every red card awarded.

ccmfans on facebook

If you're on facebook, you can "like" ccmfans.net now. Keep an eye on this one for all the latest Mariners news and information delivered right to your facebook wall, with much more to come.

These are just a couple of updates for now, and we will be rolling out more features as the season goes on. Remember to vote in the ccmfans man of the match, available straight after the final whistle of every Central Coast Mariners game. You need to be logged in to the site, so if you haven't registered yet you can do it here.

Interesting concept re referees.

BOTN writers rate Referees /10.

In the table on ccmfans so far Peter Green 'leads' but has been over the two games the best in my view!

Aha yeah it's just a bit of fun. Not really a guide on the quality of reffing as the way they earn more points is by doing more games and awarding more fouls/cards. There's no stat available for handballs missed, dodgy offside calls, etc, etc :)
