Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

u18B's OUR vs Avoca- Pluim 1 - 7:30
2nd vs 3rd- ought to be an interesting game
they just came away with a 5-0 thrashing vs 5th...and we came off a bitter loss
Main field- yay!

u13c's SEU vs Mangrove Mountains at Mangrove 10:45
it will be a very very tough game considering its up there
in junior football very rarely does home ground advantage mean anything- except with a few including Mangrove.
IMO it is a fortress up there and the only ground that I can think of that I have never won a match (out of 5-6 attempts)

I beg to differ. For a team that struggles to field a full eleven, a home game does give the option to borrow players. This is usually negated by playing away. Also  having the home crowd support (no matter how small) also assists the team to play better and dig deeper.

Not having to travel also helps. Always more up for a game at tezza than at kanwal/gwandalan/budgie/toukley

BS. I loved playing at Gavenlock as a junior (still do actually) and played better there than any other ground. Our team was awesome at the 'lock and were rarely beaten at home.

We played our game fielding only 10 players after one pulled out prior to the game.

20 minutes into the match we were up 2-1, then our defence fell apart and we stopped communicating. We failed to capitalise on several goal opportunites and Azza made some awesome saves. Our defence continually got caught out of position resulting in a constant barrage of shots at our keeper.

Doyalson 7 - Killarney 2.

Yeh we lost 7-2 to doyalson it should've been 4-2 though because there was a couple of goals that were offside and one was a handball...
I saved some shots but i couldnt save all of them...
There was just too much lol.

Killarney AA2 had a 0-0 draw with The Entrance. They are fourth and we are fifth so not a bad result despite having the best of play.

First cleansheet of the season is something positive to take out of the game.
