ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Makes next week an absolute must (f**king must) win game for us.

4 points off the top, massive GD and a chance to put some distance between 4th and 5th.

A real 6 pointer.

Unbelievable. So not impressed right now ...

Yes incredible... Just unbelievable. It must have been a dream.
I'm pretty sure Perth weren't on the list of those who could get near you ;)

:piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh:

And neither were we... but now watch us dissemble Perth next week as we begin our home run of games and then do the math ;)

Independent Match Review Panel - Round 15
Monday, 23 November 2009
by FFA

The Independent Match Review Panel - consisting of Barry Such (Chair), Simon Micallef and Alan Davidson - convened to consider the following incidents from Round 15:

The incident involving Sebastiaan Van Den Brink (Gold Coast United) in or around the 33rd minute of Gold Coast United's match against Adelaide United on Friday night. As the incident escaped the attention of the referee, the MRP has the authority to consider the incident.

The MRP found that Sebastiaan Van Den Brink had committed an offence, namely "Unsporting conduct toward a match official" - and has proposed the minimum sanction of four (4) matches. The player has until 12.00pm (Queensland time) tomorrow, 24 November 2009, to accept the proposed sanction or refer the matter to a hearing by the FFA Disciplinary Committee.

The MRP reviewed the Red Card issued to Kristian Rees (Gold Coast United) following the Gold Coast United submission of an "Obvious Error (Red Card) Application" seeking to challenge the Red Card issued to Rees in the 33rd minute of the match against Adelaide United.

The MRP upheld the decision, deciding that, in possession of all the facts, no obvious error was made by the referee. As a consequence the MRP determined to impose the mandatory one (1) Match Suspension. This is the minimum sanction for this offence under the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations.

Red Card issued to Henrique (Brisbane Roar FC): The MRP determined to impose the Mandatory one (1) match suspension for his R4 Red Card for Denying the opposing team a clear goal scoring opportunity; in the 89th minute. This is the minimum sanction for this offence under the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations

Well, it is. Striking is (and should be) treated much more seriously than holding or pulling. One is violent conduct, the other is contrary conduct.

I suppose you're right. We like to think of Danny's misdemeanour as "just a high five", but it was still a strike. And a strike doesn't have to hurt to still be a strike.

Van Der Brink put a hand on the referee to argue with him.

However, immediately before, the keeper grabbed the referee's arm, much firmer and pulled it down.  Why does he get away with it?

Fkn corrupt bunch of clowns this judiciary is.

Why are these incidents now 'unsporting conduct' and not 'assualt on a match official'??

I'm sure trying to support a new team doesn't have ANYTHING to do with it....
