ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Either Messi or Rooney to be fair........ Rooney has improved so much in this last year.  He was always world class, but lately, zomg, he is unstoppable.  An animal on the field, and he is _everywhere_.

im gonna go out on a limb and say Iker Casillas, winning EURO as captain and also in La Liga he is proving himself to be perhaps the best 'keeper in the world atm....

No Spurs players on the list??

Some mistake surely??

I would have thought the whole Spurs side would get a mention...perhaps in the 'how not to win the Ballon D'or' section :p

Gerrard? They've gotta be joking there... he's so overrated it's not funny, just shows you England don't make footballers like they used to. He's no Hoddle or Brooking, that's for sure.

Far from it, Gerrard is not the sort of footballer that Hoddle, Brooking, Currie, Cowans, Gascoigne et al were. Those were real footballers, real maestros. Above all they kept the ball in possession.

And what has Gerrard done? Set up winning goals... for Arsenal and France!!! :tv:

Craptastic Steve, innit?

Far from being an exclusive group, The I'm Better Than Gerrard Club can now claim thousands of current and former footballers worldwide who have more skill and brains than this headless chicken in a blind alley :tv: Membership is not exclusive but it's a privilege :piralaugh:
