ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

They'll also have Tsekenis to come back. He is currently back in training which is good news. Katsoulis also missing from the squad yesterday with injury. Ballard was immense yesterday. I'm also surprised Harry Macarthy hasn't had opportunity to at least train with the A-league squad. Loads of potential and would really benefit from it .

I think Harry did during pre season, not sure for how long though. I recall seeing him in training photo’s with the first team boys

Yes, I think I read somewhere that he was training with them early in the season.

I agree with Big Dog that he is worth a shot. Has improved a lot under Monty's tutelage over the last couple of seasons and has a much more rounded game. Has great vision and the ability to find a pass in tight areas.

Also agree with BD that Balard was the standout yesterday. Probably the best I have seen him play at this level.

I wonder how this Covid problem is going to affect the rest of the season.

Will certainly have broken the rhythm of most teams so upsets on returning could be more possible but what if they don’t go back? Maybe we have hit the top 4 at the right time.

Going to be a tough call for the administrators and they screwed us last year so let’s not have that happen again

Judging by the news today I'd be surprised if there's any more games this season.

Just call it now and promote us already….. :headbounce:
Football NSW said last week that the NPL competitions would be completed. That was before the escalation of the lockdown and the problems. If they don't get the competition completed I would think they would take the table as it was at the end of Round 11 after everyone had played each other once as this gives the fairest picture overall. Unfortunately we were 6th at the time and would miss promotion. If they took it as at Round 16 there would be grounds to be considered unfair - especially as we played 3 of the 4 bottom teams in the first 4 rounds of the comp.
Football NSW have a meeting with the NSW Office of Sport today so we should know more later.

Would that come into their thinking though? Teams don't have control of who they draw and injuries etc can play a part in how teams go. We also played most of our games away so far this season.
