ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Nisbet and DDS had great games but my MOM was Stensness. His passing has been a much improved part of his game this season and he is not dwelling on the ball.He is still physical and his reading of the game is a feature.Having Bozanic in the team will have been a big factor in his improvement.

I was critical of him last season ,especially his passing and decision making , but can see his potential is being realised.
I thought Niz was Mom (like a bull terrier on steroids) but Stens was extremely solid.
Stens has certainly gone up a level in confidence and delivery this year though I think he is far from his best yet. He is a really bright kid, very very intellectual and he reads the game well. Apart from that he is a freak physically. It was interesting that one commentator (I think Slater) said that Staj thinks Stens is pound for pound the strongest player in the A-League". I wouldn't be surprised.
With all that potential, I think he could be the one who might really give the club some financial payback with transfer fees one day.

He's stepping up gears and could definitely end up playing at a higher level.
Also, I don't think much has been said about Ruon, another great performance.

Finally caught in the match and all the comments. One thing I will add is we were far too slow to attack allowing them to congest. Not wide enough either.
Stop Clisby on the free kick duties.

All in all a draw was probably a deserved outcome despite our dominance. Still happy enough with the competitiveness through 3 rounds.

That will happen when you spend your preseason on stress leave pushing for a release (legit or otherwise). He isn’t likely to be in much better shape than players out of quarantine and will need time to get there.
Stress leave, stress leave.... Go home mate. Take the rest of your life off. Maybe the PC brigade will be able to give you a soft job somewhere.
Adios.
