This Urena rumour is building steam

I feel like Urena would be a bigger loss OFF the pitch than on it, while he is a world class player on ihs day, i rate Cumdog at atleast the same level of player & Urena at times has struggled to pull big numbers of goals per year.

He does seem to have a huge impact on the squad and dressing room, we couldnt ask for a more mature professional, and thats what i would miss the most & be the hardest to replace.

I'm inclined to agree. Always supportive and encouraging the younger players.

Maybe it is tied to the Birraz departure - shopping Urena around to free up a visa spot for the replacement GK? (With Cy's departure freeing up a slot for a CB)

If he is settled on the coast then it does throw up the possibility of him joining one of our rivals, Sydney maybe?

Sad to see him go but very happy for him at the same time, after our loss in the finals v Adelaide Birraz was crying his eyes out, seeing a player care so much for the club meant a lot

Would absolutely think it’d be his last chance. He’d previously said he would do “everything he could” to make it.
Would be sad to lose him tbh.

i doubt club would release him just to go to sydney no way thats happens

How fun is this.
We go from looking the most stable we’ve ever been with the bunch of extensions, a few decent pick ups to basically having to rebuild yet again.
I suspect Monty’s hairline has taken a beating in the last couple weeks.
