Mountains (Clarky's junior club, though I'm sure they would still have been PMK back then, and then as now you can hear the banjos through the mist), Kariong, Southern and Ettalong United, Kaaaaaaaaaaanwal (Chicken's junior club), Kincumber, Woooooooooooooohhhhhhng, Tuggerah (another new one), Toukley.

I don't think so, I think it's just a bit old fashioned - lots of teams in the 80s and early 90s had similar.
