ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Peter Turnbull, Graham Arnold and Mike Charlesworth had talked to the FFA about this on a number of occasions according to GA. The fact that it has never been completed means that the opportunity may have passed us by.

I came past the Millionaire factory today & it was a hive of activity.
Work on the office block is well underway with the crane having been erected & all the work sheds in place.
Footings & some lower walls have been constructed.
North Constructions are the builder`s & they seem pretty organized for a long stay....:overheadl::overheadl:

The Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence (COE) was once a pipe- dream but if you have driven past 1 Bryant Dr Tuggerah recently, you will see that it is now a functioning reality.
Deep into ‘stage two’ of the CBA approved development that includes a six-storey office building; The Mariners 50 million dollar investment into the Central Coast is continuing to expand.

Stage one included the Soccer5s facility, YMCA Swim School and the Mariners’ purpose built training facilities – stage two is set to be open for business in March 2016.

The six-storey structure includes two levels of medical suites; four stories of leased office space (including CCM HQ); 140 additional car spaces; a café; and shopfront for our official supporters merchandise outlet.

Central Coast Mariners Owner, Mike Charlesworth is excited to watch the COE grow on what is “free-hold” land (owned by Charlesworth) that is a further symbol of his long-term commitment to the Central Coast.

“Construction of stage two is well underway thanks to our partners, North Construction which entails a 10 000 square metre office block where the Mariners will of course base themselves, among other companies.

“The COE is on its way to becoming one of Australia’s finest sporting centres and the envy of the Hyundai A-League,” Charlesworth said.

With stage one and two set to be completed and fully operational by March next year, this paves the way for stages three, four and five which include (but are not limited to):

  • Public gym and function rooms
  • Indoor sports facility with a spectators viewing deck
  • 80-room hotel and 80 serviced apartments
  • Outdoor entertainment precinct and Mariners Pub
  • Two additional training pitches accompanied by a 1200 seat stadium
Of course the Central Coast Mariners football and back office departments will benefit from state of the art facilities but the ultimate aim is to develop a precinct that will host international and domestic football squads during training camps.

Over the weekend the COE will play host to the Young Socceroos (Australian Under 20s) as well as the USA U-20s Men’s National Team who will complete a training camp on the Central Coast.

There is still time to be a part of the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence. Office space is 75% pre-committed and all lease enquiries can be directed to Ty Blanch on 0421 645 961 at LJ Hooker Commercial. Click here for further details: www.ccm-coe.com.au.
