ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

In this case - Women's Best Friend.

Yesterday I made the heart wrenching decision to put my 12 year old German Shepherd, Kayla to sleep due to up to 3 problems that were not going to be cured and the treatment was only going to delay the inevidable.

She was my absolute best friend and followed me from room to room and sat with me when I watch the A League and even the EPL in the early hours of morning. :tv:

I'm going to wait a few months before getting a new dog, because that is a given, I have always had a pet around.

In the meantime today on this rainy Sunday, I need to cheer myself up and get my mind off it because you grieve for a pet the same as a close family member/relly passing. Do I go to the movies, shop till I drop or go to the pub.??
:'( :'( :'(

Have a 12yo Shepherd/Rotti X who cost me $80 and is without doubt the best dog I have ever had.

Sadly she is beginning to struggle and I think I will be in this position next winter.

My kids have always had her around and I am dreading it already.

I feel for you.

Thanks for your messages of support and sympathy.

I did shop and bought some clothes. Went to the movies a saw "27 Dresses".  Girls - a great chick flick  :eek:verhead:
Because I live in Sydney, the Refreshing Ales at the CCLC will take place next Sunday where we can toast all our 4 legged loved ones  :grouphug: and our two legged Mariner Boys when they smash the Jets  :pirashoot:
