ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

MORE than 180 players with disabilities or special needs will be involved in Sunday’s annual Football4all gala day at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood.

Organised by Football NSW, the event brings together the players and their families for a fun-filled day.

The program kicks off at 10am and there will be special guests including Central Coast Mariners players, Maltese international John Hutchinson, New Zealander Michael McGlinchey and rising stars, Mustafa Amini, Sam Gallagher, Bernie Ibini-Isei and Trent Sainsbury.

Newly-appointed CEO Eddie Moore said: ``Football NSW is proud to have developed such an initiative and we are committed to the ongoing growth and development of our established and new special needs football programs.

``Football4all is a fantastic opportunity for special needs players and their families to the world game in a fun filled environment.

``Volunteers not only involved with Football4all, but across the country, need to be commended on their tireless devotion to implementing special needs football programs and creating awareness of these platforms to families.’’

The event coincides with Football Federation Australia’s recently-launched Disability Football Month, aimed at assisting with the promotion and development of football across all levels and abilities.

I have attended one of these days & can assure everyone that it is a truly uplifting experience to see the joy on the faces` of the participants.

The effort & determination that these people put in would put a lot of people to shame.

The involvement & participation of the MARINERS in this event is fantastic & we should all be proud of them.

As a continuance & to further foster events like this, I think it would be great if the MARINERS invited some teams to participate in the half time entertainment at home games.

Thanks for posting PJennings :postcount:

It seems the whole CCM badge is out and about promoting Football as well as CCm. GA's involvement from early morning radio to meeting homesick backpackers and the the involvement from himself, Hutcho and the two younger
guys is a good indictment of where he wants the Mariners to be in the football community. Well done. and yes to the those teams participating in half time games.
