ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

In England they have a finals series that actually means something.

Highlight so far is in League 1 (the 3rd Division for everyone but the marketers)

Millwall v Leeds over 2 legs, 2nd leg at Elland Rd (I think)

Tin hats on everyone

Exeter have been the fairytale success so far. Owned and operated by a fans' trust, bright young manager getting them to play good football, epic last day promotion.

Bury likewise have had a remarkable turnaround. They were circling the drain for a few years, Alan Knill has managed to stop the rot.

Brentford managed to survive the Terry Butcher debacle last season and Andy Scott turned them around to win the title this year. So they'll be back in what's been their normal level since the late 70s.

It's worked well for Exeter, but less well for Stockport or Notts County.

Brentford are also a trust-owned club.

What is the name of the Brentford Chairman who thought he could do a better job than the manager and run the teams for a while, he also owns (or maybe now owed) Selhurst Park???

If Brentford are trust owned these days he must have gone, but may be owns the ground?

Ron Noades. Appointed himself chairman and manager in 1998 and managed to win them the Division Three (as it was then known) title in 1999. Gave way to Steve Coppell, who got them to the play-off final in 2002. Noades sold his majority shares to the trust in 2006.

1st the bad news:
Millwall won

Now the good news:
Leeds lost

Now the really good news:
The North Koreans have nuked them both!

Burnley vs reading 1-0

arguably the skitzes of the season from Reading's defender Bikey after being conceding a penalty and getting a red card later on.
