ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

FFA XI Principles

Transfer fees is a good idea - football is a money pyramid and it opens up another revenue stream for CCM - crucial that we have a decent youth set up though.

They are only principles.

JJ is not saying these are the solutions. I'm sure he has his views on what are the solutions for each of the areas but he is saying he needs to consult the stake holders. These are the principles against which we should be judging any solutions against and these are the areas that need to be addressed.

Principle 9 is the most important in my opinion.
The cost of registrations is enormous for one child alone, let alone if a household has a family of footballers.
I think the days of donating to the FFA for the cost of National teams, and to Member Federations etc should be over.

The FFA has multiple ways of raising funds for its operational cost ie. TV deals, Govt Grants, Sponsorships and National team matches for starters.
Member Federations also have other revenue streams for their funding as well without impacting the kids and amateur players.

I do however, like the idea of giving players more minutes, but it shouldn`t be limited to only elite youth leagues.
Things like Inter district competitions should be encouraged at least once a month.
Mini tournaments should be promoted for all different ages.

We need to Footballise the entire country...
