ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

DISGUSTING!

Peter Neville and son Daniel, 14, of Metford, say their trip to Gosford's Bluetongue Stadium was tarnished when some Central Coast Mariners fans harassed them.

Daniel caught one of Danny Vukovic's gloves, which the Central Coast goalkeeper had thrown into the crowd at the match's end.

Mariners supporters swamped Daniel in the excitement. He said some persisted, tugging at the glove and saying he did not deserve the memento because he was a Newcastle Jets fan.

Mr Neville said he was disgusted when several men yelled abuse at his son, but then feared for their safety when one of the men threatened them.

"We actually felt quite threatened, that we were going to be physically hurt."

A police officer intervened and security staff escorted them out of the stadium.

It was a poor end to what was a special match for the pair the first Daniel had been well enough to attend since completing chemotherapy for a brain tumour.

AND YOU GUYS GIVE US A BAD RAP, READ THE LAST LINE GUYS

And how exactly are we supposed to know that he had a brain tumour?

I'm not condoning the actions of the people around him, but the fact that he had been unwell is completely irrelevant to the moral judgement of those actions.

f**k off you little troll.  You tried to raise a genuine concern, but destroyed it with your innate f**ktardness.

And they
- throw coins at our players
- throw full soft drink bottles at us at EAS (edit: I think that may have been at Bluetongue, oh I can't remember now)
- knock our teeth out at the station
- vandalise our cars (my uncle's cos it had a Mariners sticker on it)

Surely this bloody "password" troll has a ban coming fast. Its damn obvious he is only on here to cause trouble. Thats the second thread that he has posted the same article.

HoneySoy, you also forgot:
- letting off fireworks in the middle of the street outside our leagues club
- breathing valuable air that could have been used by a Mariners player or Mariners fan.

ok password, lets reverse the situation, imagine cockvic threw his gloves or better yet, griffo the f**kface threw his boots and a young mariners fan was sitting amongst a heap of jets fans caught whatever it was. An average Jets fan probably wouldve thrown a punch by the time security got there and the kid probably wouldve had a broken nose, but then again any mariners fan wouldve realised that any jets paraphernalia is worthless and therefore wouldve willingly given it away. I dont condone that sort of behaviour, but knowing the scum, I am confident that your fans wouldn't have acted any differently or if they did they would've been worse.

One question: where in the bay were Danny's gloves thrown

Kudos to Danny, Kwassie and the boys for doing this, the jets only seem to do the lap of the stadium when they win.

btw The person/people who keep throwing coins at Hutch should be getting season bans from all games. That Sydney fan got one for throwing stuff at Shields after the Melbourne game, cant remember what he threw, but a coin is no soft projectile. We dont like Holland, Spencer or Griffo but we dont throw things at them

You got a link, show us where this was? What bay was it thrown? I didn't see Danny take off his gloves.
