ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

CHERYL SALISBURY CUP CHAMPIONS
What a week!!! No one could of imagine of what was going to transpire through this
competition, all we knew was that our team had been working hard from last November in
preparation for this season and we had made huge progress as individuals and as a team. This
competition was going to test or strengths, our weakness and our character, and Im proud
to say that we got full marks on all three. We faced teams from Premier League, Super
League, Branch Sides and the so called Association Team (Marconi etc). We played some
fantastic football, had some close shaves but as the days went on we got stronger and Im
sure when I say that every player rosed to another level they didnt know they had. There
are too many moments that captured our true spirit, defeating our first Premier League side
4-1, Emily D goal from 35 metres, Laura R first goal for the season which put
us in the quarterfinal game, Nadine K for her saves in the penalty shootout, the
tremendous work by our captain Bridget B, the work up the front from our strikers and
the moment the final whistle blew at the end of the final. The team played some tremendous
football, and inspirational at times and never at one moment did a single player not give
all they had on the field. We had some great fun whilst there ice baths, pool sessions we
even got to turn the Koala coach into a blue smurf. The inspiration and motivation for our
last day there was simple for all the girls there except for three this was going to be your
only  and last chance to compete in this competition, so they were told to take up the
opportunity that was presented to them and make it count. The preparation for the last game
was completed with a lot of singing and encouragement and the result was devastating as we
completely demolished Southern Branch 5 nil. A big congrats to Ally M for claiming
player of the tournament. A mention also to Ali OB for her heroics in defending, we
all wish you a speedy recovery and wish to see you back training and p
laying with us as soon as possible. I would like to wrap this report up by saying, girls
youve made your team mates proud, youve made your parents proud and youve made me
proud of coaching all of you. The season is not finished yet and I feel there is a lot more
coming your way. Girls congratulations and remember what I said to you some time ago you
are all part of something special in this team and this is not going to happen to you every
year.
