ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2 games away from a Super Cup show down with (hopefully) Inter in Monte Carlo.

Chance to abuse Jose for his time spent up the road with the Blue Filth.

Sir Roys old team (Inter) and interestingly, Jose and Roy are both pupils of the same tactical school (someone Allen who was the FA's coaching director in the 1970's). 2 banks of 4, wide men going outside in to compress the midfield, target man to hold the ball up, lightning counter attacks.

That would be Allen Wade who wrote the" FA Guide to Training and Coaching" which was the first coaching book I ever bought. The 5 Principles of Attack and 5 Principles of Defence that Wade summarised in that were the basis of of coaching certificate courses for over 20 years. Obviously when applied by his star pupils it works well.

Whyyy a weekend final ?

Wikipedia to the rescue-

"The 2010 UEFA Champions League Final is a football match, the final match of the 200910 UEFA Champions League, scheduled to be played on Saturday, 22 May 2010. It will be contested by Bayern Munich and Internazionale. It will be the 18th final of the UEFA Champions League under the current format and the 55th in total. The game will be played at the Santiago Bernabu Stadium, home of Real Madrid.[2] The winners will complete the Treble, a feat never before achieved by any team from either of their two countries.

In November 2007, it was decided that the 2010 final would be the first Champions League final to be played on a Saturday, rather than the traditional Wednesday.[3]"

, , $, , 元, and so forth.

They (UEFA) reckon they'll get even higher viewing figures everywhere 'cause it's a weekend, especially in Asia.

Ka-ching.

Inter have to cut out that long ball conter attack rubbish. It just leads to too many goals and the football is not pretty enough.
