DUMPED Sydney FC coach Branko Culina isn't surprised the team is challenging for the minor premiership under John Kosmina but believes they are playing ugly football.
Culina, who was sacked in October after Sydney managed just two wins in their first nine games of the season, said: "I watched the game against Queensland [0-0 draw last Sunday] and to me that was ugly. That's ugly football and I could have done that."
Whilst there is probably a fair amount of sour grapes, he is absolutely correct. Kosmina has resorted to the R Money, Fat Sam, J Charlton book on how play shite football. Trouble is, it can be effective for a short period but usually gets found out in the end. Which I hope we will prove as we sweep Lowy FC away in the semi's.
