yeah i believe the proximty of brosque and the fact that danny appeared to bend his body/ move his arm to wards the ball sealed it - plus the ref was 50m away

. that incident in that game is only relevant in that it could have broken us

. but we all know it didn't ... still got the plate ... upcoming gf

. last night's game will do the opposite to what that game could have done

Bikinigirl - I actually think it did break us for a short time, and it was a struggle for the next 3 or 4 games but last night and even the first leg we were a different team...

Better ref than Breeze. He let the game flow but did make one or two strange calls.

At least he didn't appear blatanly biased against us like Breeze.

I dont mean to be a dampener about giving card or anything (mainly because we can all see a legit card or not - without being biased ourselves if its for our team or not - nb: we play alot cleaner football than most teams here), but even if the Refs are from FIFA they more than likely follow some FFA agenda about bending rules - which means:

"hmm heads I give out lots of cards, tails not so many"
*flips coin, lands on the side*
"meh i'll make it up as i go along better yet, i'll watch the AR's more than the game.. or even the clouds.. is there anything fluffier than one, oh I know my wallet."


That's pretty much how it goes, why? because we dont have better Football Associations that's why!

And just to add what i already said, that's not biased to any particular team - it's just how the Refs and the FFA work, just Breeze tampers with his coin toss for it to be "how many cards do I give Sydney's Opposition whoever they may be".
