Thought I'd kick off a thread earlyish as it's derby week. Newcastle don't scare me and I think this has the potential to be a flogging. We are the most inform team in the league atm having only lost 1 game in 18 across all competitions whereas the Jets are currently on 1 win in their last 9. To travel to Melbourne away to face Vuck and defeat those pack of bucket throwing sooks after playing 120 minutes a few days earlier against Macarthur is quite astonishing so I expect the Jets fans to be a bit nervous for whats about to come there way. Hopefully the rain stays away and I'm keen for a big away turnout as we show those scummers from up the F3 who has the better fans once again. FTS

Form is an attitude and it can’t be turned on and off at will and the Jest will be keen to try to take a big scalp in the derby.

Our boys need to stick to what they have been doing and I’m sure Jacko and the coaching staff will have a plan to get the choccies, so we should keep the faith and believe we can and will get the job done off the back of a less hectic week.

Looking forward to being there to get behind the boys and show the scum supporters how to back your team.

WU have 9 games left and need to win 2 and draw 1 game more than the jets. Their run home is a bit easier but not that much easier. If they manage to do it we might even see Adelaide get the spoon.

The pre game venue is at Grainfield Brewing Company, and we will leave at 5:10 PM to march to the ground with a police escort which to the information I've been told means that unlike our last one against Adelaide last season, we will have permission to walk on the streets. Get there, spread the word, bring a mate, and if you don't have any to bring, make some at the pub and cheer on the Mariners and make our presence known to those scummers. FTS, COYY

As already said this is there season and they get up for it because it’s all they have. So must match their intensity.

From my understanding, the thought behind it was that the fans on the buses will join in on the march either by coming back to it like you said or joining it as it comes by, you're right though it is leaving a bit early but is meant to be a slow walk unlike the one against Adelaide last year

Interesting to see if Theo comes back in or Jacko starts Doka at RW.

I heard that DWL is still training hard every session its just that Jacko doesn't rate him too highly after those early insipid performances.

He may well get another chance with out hectic scheduling.
