The irony is he proved himself wrong in his original press conference. He actually said something aong the lines of "up until a couple of weeks ago we had had less yellows and conceded less fouls than anybody else in the league...".

So hardly a compelling case for bias then. If anything more of a case for them being shown favouritism.

But then decisions go against them a couple of weeks on the trot and all of a sudden there's a "stigma" and out comes the tin foil hat.

Which is why they can't go too hard either way.

Punish him with bad decisions and he is proved right that there is there is a bias. Go too far the other way against us and he is proved right that the refs aren't fair and are reffing the publicity.

He had a really good opportunity to get his point across with solid examples of poor decisions but he went way OTT.
