Apparently there was a fight after an AFL/NRL game (was only have listening to the tv this morning...) and when the guy was asked about it he goes "Its a shame, we're turning into Soccer fans in England with all the fights happening after the game..."

Am wondering how a players father belting the crap out of another guy makes us anything like sokkah hooligans?

Three Collingwood fans arrested over alleged bashing of player's father

    April 04, 2009

Three Collingwood fans were arrested for allegedly bashing a Demon player's father outside the MCG after the game on Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses said they were sickened by what they described as an unprovoked attack on Brad Jones, the father of Demon Nathan Jones, as he was leaving the ground with son Zac, 14, after the Magpies' 53-point win.

Witnesses said the Collingwood supporters were abusing Melbourne fans outside the ground before allegedly punching Jones in the face and upper body as his son watched on in shock.

During the brawl one of the attackers lost his shirt as Jones tried to defend himself.

Police arrested three men at the scene about 5pm.

A crowd gathered to watch the arrest and Pies and Demons fans swore at the men in disgust, witnesses said.

Jones was left covered in blood, with fears he could have been seriously injured.

Ambulance officers treated him for his injuries before he was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with a suspected broken nose and cheekbone.

His son was cared for in the Demon clubrooms afterwards.

Demons president Jim Stynes said the club was shocked by the attack.

We want to keep this as a family sport rather than a thug sport,'' he said.

Fans should maintain the spirit of the game after the siren sounds and celebrate with the spirit of humility.

"First and foremost The Melbourne Football Club is for family. Everyone is welcome at our games. Everyone must feel safe and secure and free to express their passion for the club they support.

"One of the great things about the culture of AFL football is this type of behaviour is very rare. Irrespective of whom you support - supporter violence is just not on.

One witness, who asked not to be named, said the violence was more like a soccer brawl than a quiet afternoon watching the footy at the MCG.

It's the worst football bashing I have seen,'' he said.

A statement from the Melbourne Football Club confirmed the incident.

Police are currently investigating the matter.

So it was AFL....my bad.

          o What are these?

AFL club North Melbourne will investigate which of its players posted on the internet a degrading video that depicts a toy rubber chicken performing sex acts.

The four-minute video, posted on video sharing website YouTube, features the rubber chicken, always wearing a condom on its head and manoeuvred by an unidentifiable hand, seeming to sexually penetrate a real chicken carcass, The Age newspaper reports.

The real chicken, depicted as a woman, is hurled into a wall and run over by a van before the rubber chicken returns to again penetrate it, The Age said.

Parts of the film, titled The Adventures of Little Boris, were recorded in the club's locker room, including the locker of senior player Brady Rawlings, on the desk of a staff member, at a supermarket and in a hotel toilet.

The film's soundtrack is Move Bitch, a song by US rapper Ludacris.

No players, coaches or staff are seen in the video.

North Melbourne chief executive Eugene Arocca said he was "embarrassed'' about the video, ordered it to be removed from YouTube when alerted to it by The Age and said its origin would be investigated.

"Foolishly, one of the younger members of our group placed it on his Facebook (page). It then found its way onto YouTube. It's now been removed,'' he said.

"I'm furious to say the least that it's gotten out, though I haven't had the advantage of seeing it.''

AFL corporate affairs manager Brian Walsh said the video was "infantile and inappropriate''.

It's been removed from YouTube...but I'm sure it'll pop up somewhere,
Why the f**k would anyone want their dressed up penis...inside a dead chicken?
That's f**kin' wrong...

Fremantle players raiding each others' homes in Ku Klux Klan costumes

April 21, 2009 01:15pm

THE AFL has again been severely embarrassed by revelations Fremantle players dressed up as members of the Ku Klux Klan and raided each others' houses.

Just as the AFL recovers from North Melbourne's "chickengate" affair, explosive comments were made by Fremantle player development manager Steve Malaxos while speaking on local Perth radio station SportFM.

AdelaideNow reports that Malaxos was originally asked to explain a prank that involved a player altering the club's training schedule to include a 3km time trial.

The prank conned some of the assistant coaches to set up the markers for the drill before they realised it was a joke.

Malaxos then revealed another favourite prank, in which players dressed in Ku Klux Klan-like gear and raided each others' houses.

However, although his original comments made it to air, the Ku Klux Klan bit was edited out of the podcast which made it in full onto the SportFM website.

The Ku Klux Klan, also known as the KKK, is a white supremacist organisation which has a record of violence towards African Americans, Jews and other minorities.

The controversy is the last thing Fremantle needed after their 0-4 start to the season, which has heaped pressure on coach Mark Harvey.

Kangaroos pair Daniel Pratt and Adam Simpson were fined $5000 each over the chicken-sex video scandal that made its way onto video-sharing website YouTube earlier this month.

Friend of mine with some of the tweets of the day so far on that one:

Aker: "Sure, I give my teammates the odd blowjob, but that's normal inside footy clubs. I'm not a poof or anything." http://is.gd/cgCFn

He wants homoerotic antics but only if everyone pretends not to like it.

It's time for one of Akermanis's partners in "homoerotic activities" to come out. That would be pretty much the best. #nothingsuss
