ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

He was at the GF - a little incognito in CCM jersey and jeans.
Anton was here, rich was not.
I think the other fella may have been Anton’s brother, Robert, who was also on the trip.
It was Anton, Anton’s brother in the glasses (they do look similar) MC and David Slade. They were on the main tour (MC wasn’t) which I was on. MC came back to Ubud and went out with us until 2am. He kept to himself and mainly hung around with Anton. He tried to stay low key and I respected that. On the bus someone asked him who he supported in the EPL, we all know his answer but I think he was chuffed the person didn’t know who he was. He shouted some rounds which was nice.

Big game on Wednesday. A win secures us first place in the group and will allow to rest some players in the final away day fixture.

If we win on Wednesday I would leave Vuka, Faz, Brian, Theo, Balard, Tulio and Wilson at home for the December fixture and take a relatively young squad of

Warshawsky, Peraic-Cullen, Smith, Millard, Paull, Larson, Windust, Roux, Hall, Torres, Nisbet, Steele, Tapp, Kasalovic, Di Pizio, Doka, Reec, Kuol, Duarte, Wenzell-Halls.

I'd also play Roux and Niz for as few minutes as possible but probably need their experience on the the field for a large portion.

After the AFC away game we travel to City away for a game 4 days later and Brisbane away 4 days after that before going back to more regular fixtures until mid-February.

With the current standings the interzonal semi-finalists are us, Macarthur and Sabah as first placed and Phnom Penh Crown as the best placed runner-up.

If we win the ASEAN Zone we move on to the Inter-zone Semi-finals, where "they are joined by the winners of Groups D, E and I; a Knockout Stage draw will be conducted to determine the two ties for this stage. The two victors then play each other in the Inter-zone Final to earn the right to face the winner of the West Zonal final in the AFC Cup™ 2023/24 Final on May 5, 2024."

In other games Mohun Bagan now third in their group after 5 games. The dream of playing against the Dingo is fading very quick.

I see they were beaten by a team and on the scoresheet was Roy Chrishna and Cy Goddard.

I just looked up the stats and Mohun Bagan had plenty of possession, similar shots & shots on target. Odisha had 6 shots on target and 5 went in. Weird game. Dimi missed their last 2 AFC games for some reason.

Edit - Highlights here but you'll need to click the watch on youtube link. Cy did well but that defending is woeful. Their captain in particular had an absolute nightmare.

Such poor defending you'd almost think there might be some match fixing going on!

I definitely appreciate we need to secure first place in the group and do well at AFC now we’re here.

But surely the fan base and casuals will turn up in more force (Better for Peil) if we can keep the roll on and get a win at home against Victory.
* Especially heat at 3pm on Sat

I have faith our ‘second string’ can get the job done.
