Certainly parts of that are pretty embarrassing, but I think a lot of the clips shown are reflective of the poor surfaces which we are forced to play on (really wet, or uneven). A lot of the times where players seem to trip over their feet, its because of poor turf.
Am I the only one who had erased Matt Ryan's howlers from my memory?

He did have a few.
Although the more I look at that Melbourne Heart goal - the more I think the ball hit a sprinkler head or something. Thompson hits it with a load of backspin, but it bounces forward and slightly to the right as if it was with topspin ???
