ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Second Edition of Half Time Heroes is now out   http://issuu.com/nearpost/docs/halftimeheroessept09?viewMode=magazine

Good stuff over 57 pages lots of stuff on the Mariners and the Coast to be exact pages 36 & 50  with some great cartoons pages 37 and page 46 will make you say there is a God others too dislike Fozzie

Love the magazine cover as well Remember if we dont support our own media then who will 26 writers  with an editor and sub editors a huge effort and everyone is giving freely of their time..

Simon Hill is plugging it and so is with Adam Spencer of ABC fame who BTW is also interviewed The fist issue had over 6, 400 unique views from different PC

My LOL bit was the Chant of the month SFC at the Gold Coast match . Clive Palmer ate All your Fans

Hopefully you can have a look and pass it around as much as possible it will only grow by word of mouth

Just for the record Issue Number One for anyone who missed it http://issuu.com/nearpost/docs/halftimeheroes1

Further to the above post.. HTH is slowly growing and is getting a tad over 7, 500 reads a month .

Not bad for a new football online mag....

As always it is an attempt to balance the media coverage in Australia so please open hopefully enjoy and if you do pass on to your friends...

The editor has just arranged some free advertising and the listing of HTH on an interesting site... below I will copy in part his email to us ... and it looks like fun for those into Football manager games but it will help getting HTH more exposure so I ask you to consider playing...

Advertising:
After months of high powered negotiations I have organised some free advertising.

HTH rss feeds will appear on this site:

http://www.onlinesoccermanager.com/au/ It's online football manager game. I have been playing for years (yes I am a football nerd!)

Here is what one of their bosses said.

As you may have seen we currently have 500.000 daily players in our game all over the world most of them are from Europe and Middle East.

Your feed will be shown to all English speaking players (so UK, U.S. and Australia). We can manage your exposure by rotating other newspartners on that spot. If you send more traffic we can upgrade your exposure some more.

Back to me speaking:

Now I have big favour to ask all of you. You should register to play this game. It's not just an A League club you can manage but almost every club in the world is available . The more folks that register the longer we stay on the site meaning more folks will read your work.

HTH will be on the site for one month initially. I have also organised for HTH to appear in a weekly football magazine called Goal Weekly (on sale in all good newsagents in Melbourne. The mag is being distributed by the fairfax group so it will be sold all around Australia. We have a couple of pages to start with and perhaps it will grow in the future.

Great article on Lawrie middie,  keep em up. To anyone here who has given the mag a read,  just a reminder that all of the Lawrie cartoons have always come from a big love of  the big man and the club... nuff said.

March edition out now...have a look and if you enjoy pass on... we can only grow by word of mouth or in this case by electronic blips across the universe as the emails may their way through space..

Holds hand up and says I am a very small part of this...and I ask you to please check out the July issue above...

Look its a bunch of hard core rusted on (aside from me) very talented football people from cartoonist to paid journalist putting together an online magazine ... its just getting better each month...the whole thing is put together for nothing everyone is giving their time / skills / ability for free.... BUT it is looking IMO (I am bias) quite professional...

Spread the word sent the link it all helps .... we complain about the media a  lot .This is a small attempt to write our own stories ...

Half Time Heroes has just put out a video of WC  images review  ... it takes a little time to load and your screen may go black for a tad ... but check it out ..

As I said the more its read and watched the better it will be...
