WTF no porter, sherlock starting !!, no mjdra on the bench, redders should be on the bench, and kwassie should be on the wing

and i'm pretty sure there is more then 4 players on the bench in the acl

i like that lineup better even though macca and matty don't really work well together, with probably disco, adrian and gumps impact players, maybe smith possibly to be used as an impact player if a player is injured

the mariners squad thread is for signings and potential signings, not for team formations for particular games

Its not just for one game its for the entire serise. This includes the new SIGNING.
An the formation was just the easyest way to include the pictures.

If ur complaining about it so much make the tread urself.

I wish Kwas and Hutch were playing for Pohang

Matt and Dyl haven't worked well together so far, because they are both large guys who could do with some service from out wide. With Elrich back on deck, Rizzo, Kwas, that is potentially three genuine wingers who can get forward and cross. Heff and Porter as overlapping fullbacks would be nice. Clog up the centre with two of Huke, Ossie and Hutch.

The main thing we need to learn is to be patient, sit deep and force the opposition wide, Adelaide style. We need to create maybe 6 chances in a game rather than 15, but control possession at the back for periods and pick our moments to attack with numbers (ie not just 'any time we have the ball'). Then we have to be disciplined with marking, tracking and passing men on for 90 minutes...when's the last time we did that?

I'd go for Nik over Dylan because he seemed to combine well with Heff and Rizzo and he is a bit different to Matty. Not sure about Hutch - can do the job up front as an AM but seems to have been carrying injuries.
