That was my (now 16y.o.) youngest son's first exposure. I'd already been to the first game (double-header - the other match being Sydney FC vs. Queensland Roar) four days earlier.

He turned up and declared "I'm going for the red team"...
I guess he identifies as being a Man U fan too and now has 10 years service up with Gosford City but has since that day been a dedicated CCM fan / 10 year member / progressing increasingly to active.

Yep, I was at the first game, I was keen to see how they went after the pre season cup games...due to working at Packers, first couple of years were a bit crook for attending Saturday games ( cause the boss was an android and thought everybody should be one) but then i busted me neck, and my weekends freed up...attended 99.7% of home games since

I honestly cannot remember much from that season apart from that bastard GF, I think I missed the season opener due to work commitments (sadly the story of my life).

Despite the jeers we are are still here. First it was we'd be dead in 5 years, then 10. Nobody ever rates us, we do care only to shove it back in your face.
