ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

…From what (up until about 5:30pm) felt like the longest day of my life!

Glad it ended well, though… :overheadl::cheers:

Great day that I wanted to relive again this season. I even played my OS trip for after the GF. Thanks David for moving the GF back a couple of weeks  As it is now I will be cheering from afar. C'mon boys - back to back!!! :overheadl::overheadl::overheadl:

It was a great day! I have to be honest, however, and say that I was more relieved than exhilarated when the ref blew the final whistle. I've kind of felt that way all season. I wonder if the feelings will be different when we win it this year :) COYY

I arrive back from o/s at 5am on the Sunday morning of the GF. Already told a mate that if the Roar are playing us to go ahead and get us a ticket. Got a feeling it's going to be a BIG weekend...

Kressinger's missed header just before 19 minutes… I've watched this game how many times and it still makes me clench.

Pedj's hand ball right after Patty Z's goal… oh dear. We got lucky there. But, if I remember right, there was a WSW hand ball that wasn't called in their penalty box, so it evened up.

Where are they now? Bold indicates no longer with us.

Mat Ryan
Socceroos lock, star keeper for Belgian side Club Brugge. Future is very bright, quickly becoming one of Australia's best players.

Pedj Bojic
Transfered to rivals Sydney FC. Pulled up injured and has had little game time this season.

Patrick Zwaansijk
Retired after scoring the go-ahead late in the first half. Now coaches that national youth team at Gosford.

Trent Sainsbury
Stepped up after the retirement of Patrick Zwaansijk, shining light in defence during a slow start to the 2013-14 season before transferring to Dutch club PEC Zwolle.

Josh Rose
Dip in form this season but remains a consistent and solid starter for the Mariners, still an integral part of the side.

John Hutchinson
Club captain, record holder for most games with one club in the A-League. Poor form early in the season but getting benched for a few games has seem a resurgence in form.

Oliver Bozanic
Years of promise finally lead to a European transfer, hit some very good form early on for Swiss club Luzern and is slowly becoming a Socceroos regular.

Michael McGlinchey
Arguably the best player of the title winning squad, transferred to Japan along with Graham Arnold in the middle of the season on a loan. Looks to be returning soon.

Mile Sterjovski
Recently announced his retirement, former Socceroos and one of the parts of Australia's golden generation. Has recently hit his best form since joining the Mariners.

Bernie Ibini
Transfered out to SIPG Shanghai East Asia in the off season, but returned on a loan during the January window. Has been in supreme form, banging in 6 goals in 3 months including the winner this weekend past.

Daniel McBreen
Scored the second goal in the grand final and won the golden boot that season. Short loan to SIPG Shanghai East Asia during the off season, returned for a few games this season before they tabled a transfer offer for him.

Likewise - it was just relief , I couldn't even begin to think we were home after the Suncorp experience. I had similiar feelings on Sat night tbh, playing to wind the clock down does it to me every time.

So I am not sure if I could genuinely go berserk during a game unless we had a 3+ lead in the game and not sure we have that in us this finals series.

I was just glad, when seeing replays of Arnie during McBreen's pen, that I wasn't the only one who was too terrified to watch.
