I would love to go to this game and visit some more wineries unfortunately on that date I will be doing it tough in a ski lodge in Jindabyne with a heap of other fly fishing alcoholics.

I feel all of your frustrations but I am a mariners fan in Mudgee and it works for me 
I heard accomodation options were drying up. I have a few mates coming to Mudgee for this game. I am about to move from Mudgee to Coolah (an hour north of Mudgee) so I have half my house packed up. It isn't a strategic move from the club, the council out here are serious about sporting events coming to Glen Willow, they have massive interest from the NRL and the events team spend all year sorting out footy games so if the a-league is serious about growing the game across the country they need to bring the game to the bush. The NRL pounces straight on it and have a really good relationship with council, so if the a-league doesn't come here the NRL just gets more of the exposure.

Seems like the powers at be don't like MC and don't care at all about what happens to us or how we're treated.
That is sheer stupidity. Wellingtons core fan base is 2 hours ahead of us. So 5pm is prime time for them. 745 is a 945 kick off for them. It’s bad for both home teams.
