How Kuol was that win? He might be a chance for the Olyroos if the Games go ahead.Arnie loves physical strikers. He has to be MOTM this time.

However we can't keep giving up early goals.Good sides could close up the game and we will be sucker punched trying to catch up as the season progresses.

Against that is the obvious self belief that runs through this team and keeps them going.

Just sensational. Great to see how well we can manage without Nizzy....loving the energy we showed all game. And I loved how we kept trying to score - I reckon us keeping the pressure on at the end probably disrupted WU moreso than the traditional running down the clock.

Cracker of a match and we're exciting to watch. Those headers....phwoa!!!!

The cross from Bouman for the third goal was superb.
Love how many replays of the last goal there are on the highlights.

What another amazing win.
I can’t even be bothered rating each of the boys and I don’t care who did and didn’t perform, I’m just so incredibly happy we’re top of the league and looking the real deal.
alou kuol is an absolute sensation. He’s the type of player you build your marketing around. Nothing phases him. He doesn’t care who Diamanti, berisha, Milligan etc are. He’ll kick the shit out of them fairly and bang goals.
there was a fantastic moment after the game when all the boys were rightly going mental around alou and he was just casually walking amongst them all, no wild expression just an aura that said to me “I’m not surprised motherf**ker”
What a player.

But just on Western United, what a bunch of absolute f**kwits their playing roster and coaching staff are. Makes it so sweet beating them. Rudan blatantly encouraging his players to be a pack of wankers and doing all the dirty scum tactics that drive people away from football. And then a 20 year old Sudanese lad trots onto the field makes your entire defence shit their pants when they try play out and then bangs 2 goals to rightfully win the game.

Sign Staj for life tie everyone under the age of 23 for at least 5 years. Kuol for 10.
Nigro closed down Paine beautifully.
Kuol's winning goal was the best header I have seen since Stewart Petrie.
Janota needs more time to get up to Australian football speed. Back to the bench.
The team was tired but still came home over Geelong easily.
Would love to give MOM to Kuol who won the game, but he was only there for 30 minutes.
I repeat what I said at the end of last year Nizz is the best prospect I have seen since Amini. I will now say he is a better prospect.
Urena will be a goal scorer and has the right attitude for us.
Matty is playing the best football of his life.
Ollie is a CCM hall of fame candidate.
Casella will be great.
I want whatever DDS is taking, what a breakout he is having.

3 points - DDS
2 points - Ollie
1 point - Nigro

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Just watching the replay on kayo ...how about f**king Berisha huh, how many players has he kicked into casualty ?...Tongers gives him a love tap by accident , and yes Tongers got the ball , the psycho fell over Tongers legs and then he carried on like a f**king pork chop ....TBF I still haven’t forgiven him for making Monty miss the GF v WSW

I saw something today I have not seen in a long time maybe back to early Hal...

Clisby had pushed up and we lost the ball..

Clisby's position was unprotected...

WU were heading in that direction..

Brigi called for the space to be closed down...

WE did not slide across..

Nirgo, sped across the field not so much to defend but simply to hold play up...

DDS dropped back and took Nirgo's place as right back...

The centre 3 ie Stens, Rowles & Ruon hold their positions as the centre three..

No lengthy post from me tonight just 3 things
- We looked tired and you could see it in some of the errors, passes that didn’t stick, etc but we still fought.
- Nisbet reminded us why he is so popular. We needed exactly what he brings and Janota won’t be taking that spot for granted.
- Alou Kuol.

Urena keeps his starting spot, he creates alot more than you realise and is always a threat.

Janota had an off night but has quality, perhaps was getting a little cocky with his skills here but won't be like that for the next one, expecting a goal from him next week.
