ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Same as every other season for the past 10 years or so, all the giveaways and ground interviews etc are on the west side in a predominantly empty stand whilst the eastern stand and northern section get sweet F**k all.
I`t can`t be that hard to walk across the pitch every second home game and share the love ...:popcorn:

Thanks for this feedback - we do try to get there - sometimes it's a bit hard with the microphone range within the stadium (you may have noticed Gawndy's mic dropping out at half time at the last match due to the distance away from the audio box so every second word was getting dropped out, don't think the poor weather helped). For some of these things, people are also selected from the East but asked to come to the Western side for the camera shot etc - so it can be a bit deceiving, I understand that! I'll pass on the feedback and see that we mix things up a bit more :)

I don't mind the 90's playlist TBH. I just loved Tom Petty but won't back down is his worst ever release that's just white Midwest soft rock rubbish.
His entire catelogue shits on DBD.
/end rant.
However. Immigrant song. Yes please

Glad everyone is enjoying Immagrant song! Always hard to gett he walkout track right, as some people have said - we can't please everyone. Will look at the way we do this, and extend the Zep before we go into Won't Back Down.

We either go with a walk out song no one can agree with ... or IMO pick a good Aussie song ...

AC / DC ... Thunderstruck ... changing to Mariner Struck and a good bt of the song the only word is Thunderstruck.

Men at Work... The Land Down Under ... change to the Central Coast tho getting it to rhyme could be difficult...

Under MC we could always use the Teskey Brothers song "Pain & Misery""" as the walk out song...

Maybe a surf song ... and we have an album quite famous called morning of the earth half filmed on the Coast ...

This song was filmed at Broken Bay ...

Open Up Your Heart from Wayne Thomas... from the Album Morning of the Earth, it seems the Broken Bay vid has been taken down...

But maybe its a tad tame for a walk out song

From 63 yer out of the volt... but just a suggestion ... side info they were Greek Migrant boys... tis fast and is a surf song ...

I Won’t Back Down is good. It is appropriate. It was picked by Staj and has meaning to the players. Get behind it.
All good for it to have meaning but it still reminds me of 2GO and I’m in my mid 30s. Does the opposite of hyping me up. Can’t imagine what younger fans think of it. Doesn’t have that timeless banger appeal of something like Zeppelin.

Middy,

Hells Bells (fav at the boxing, Muay Thai, MMA) and Thunderstruck are good suggestions.
The rest of them, no so much.

For me the Immigrant Song is perfect! Lets make it ours.

I also love Jump Around by the House of Pain but the Yanks have owned that. (another huge Boxing/Muay thai walk out song)
