ladder leaders doesn't mean a lot 4 weeks in - we can take them!!
Shame I can't go - I finish work at 7 and I no longer work in the city, so can't get to the game in time.

Excited for this one, should be a very good game. Metcalfe has been a revelation for them. Lachie has been going along decently too.
We proved our midfield can dominate the best midfield in the league so hopefully we take that form and make it a 90minute domination. Noone is their biggest threat whilst Macca is out.
Our backline/GK imo is much stronger than theirs. Rostyn is very slow these days, delbridge is average as hell. Jamieson can be got at especially well. I rate our chances very highly, mainly because Macca is out.

If the boys return home with anything from this game, that will be a big success and lays down a marker for the season. Once you set a high bar though, the trick is to maintain it.

$ity have been far from convincing so far imho despite ‘topping the table’. Their youngsters have been impressive like ours but they are gettable, as is any team in the HAL.

Been meaning to post my thoughts about the game Friday night against Melb City. Got caught up this afternoon baking scones for hubby. They did turn out delicious.
My thoughts are unfortunately we will lose this match. The short turn around from Sunday & traveling from Perth to Melb will take its toll on the team. Keep your $$ in your wallets this week but don’t lose faith & trust the process. Once again, this is just a feeling & a vibe. I’m definitely no football expert so sorry if I’m wrong!

I hope we go back to the 4-2-3-1 for this game.
Keep them guessing and try and hold our structure and possession for longer periods and tire less towards the end of the game.

City have Brillante who positions well and goes under the radar.
We really need to starve them of the ball, make them frustrated then pounce only when safe in the final third.

Sweeping up any penetration that may get through the attacking mid 3 is key.
Milan may have to hold in position more this game and wait for corners and free’s to advance for opportunities as to not get caught out.

There was big gaps and advances from Perth in that second half and although we worked hard, can’t deny we were also lucky to hold out.

I’m calling a draw, we can’t afford a loss so we may be hesitant. But we have done well enough to deserve to keep moving forward without a loss.

It think brillante is good going forward but a liablity in defence . I think he played centre back for shitty last week .
It must also be tempting to play roun over rowles as he was knackered last week and may have limit time in his legs
