ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I would like the wicked witch of the east to stand for the coast, it would give me so much pleasure to put her last on the ballot.

From Wiki:

In 1960 she started a Bachelor of Laws degree @ Syd Uni. Bishop failed a total of 11 subjects over six years. Bishop was eventually deemed ineligible to continue.

On the 2nd August 2015, Bronwyn Bishop finally deemed "herself ineligible to continue". Thank'F'Christ!

In her time as Speaker, Bishop ejected 393 Labor MPs from the house, but only 7 government MPs. Party'san (sic) because to the Liberals it must have felt like a Party where they owned the bouncer at the door.

On 31 July, Tony Abbott announced that the Department of Finance would be reviewing all expenses claimed by Bishop over the past 10 years, including the
$800,000 claimed during 2014 alone!

Dept of Finance? Fk'That!
If she's falsified her travel expenses in any way its criminal conduct under federal law. Hope the AFP grill the shit out of her.

Bernie Sanders I hope this guy wins the next US election… has been attacking huge crowds and the media was ignoring him… he is attacking the very rich in America…. Many of the issues he speaks of are similar to Australia.

Crowds are flocking to this guy.

“It was crisis day in Parliament, as the House stood hushed and still,
As a member rose with the question, ‘are we doomed to go downhill?’
‘I’m confident of an upturn,’ the PM made reply,
‘If workers’ pay is held at bay we’ll all be home and dry!’
‘How true, how true,’ cried the workers, ‘let’s end this wicked strike’,
‘We don’t want a rise in wages, they can stick it where they like,’
‘Thank God, thank God,’ sobbed the bosses, ‘there’s faith on the factory floor,’
‘And now we have this extra lot, we’ll give it to the poor!’
They stuffed their pockets with money, and ran with eager feet
Pressing their surplus profits upon the people in the street,
They moved amongst the dole queues, and boarded every bus
With streaming eyes and heartfelt cries, ‘you need it more than us.’
Soon the land prospered, and the Devil became a Saint,
Now the sobre unions had exercised restraint,
and the people were all happy and the sound of laughter spread,
as hand took hand in the golden land, and pigs flew overhead.”

Sounds like you get your 'insight' from reading Piers Akerman columns.

You've not met many members of the ALP have you? Or union members. Or union activists. Or MPs.

Until/unless you do, maybe don't talk shit about things about which you know absolutely nothing.

Interesting episode of the ABC's '4 Corners' this week;
'Secrets, Politics and Torture" , how the ghosts of the CIA's controversial torture program continue to haunt the Unted States.

As for the UN ......."tits on a bull" & expensive "tittie's" at that.

Established in 1945, it took them a mere 68 years (in 2013) to do 'something of their own volition' when it comes to actually fighting a 'war'.

Sending 3000 troops into the Congo to fight the rebels in the civil war (which was caused by all the Hutus escaping capture/justice from the neighboring Rawanda genocide), albeit after 14 years of 'failed UN peace keeping'.

5.4 million people killed in what's been described as the most bloodiest conflict since WW2. All so we can have a constant supply of the Congo's vast resources of Gold, Copper & Coltan for our iPhones and tablets.

Had the fortune of meeting a group of some very interesting American Vietnam vets in Vietnam last week. There's the saying 'as American as apple pie'....well, these guys made applie pie look commie!!
Was interesting to hear how (between rounds of telling us how somebody needs to shoot that n****r president) they're 100% in support of Trump. Their main logic? He has too much money to be bought!

Ahh, good to know it isn't only Aussie politics that's a circus!

Now, if only we had somebody worth voting for who had a snowball's chance in hell of actually taking the majority. ALP = Alternative Liberal Party. Lost their way majorly. Still would lead a million times better than Abbott (cannot possibly figure out how people think he's doing a good job, although I couldn't figure out why people would vote for him even in opposition.....), but the thought of the powerhungry backstabber in power is only slightly less nauseating than Abya maintaining power.
