ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners squad HAL 10 ~ 2014/15

is it right to feel mildly concerned about lack of shopping thus far?

The Scum have signed yet another - Jeronimo Neumann from Adelaide. They look like building a squad that has the potential to smash us. It will be interesting to see whether a collection of quality players (Jets) is better than a relatively settled squad (CCM).

One thing is for certain. The likes of Duke, Simon, etc. will need to pull their finger out and actually deliver this year. Otherwise it will be a lean campaign.

Every other Club looks to be in a rebuilding year, apart from us. Could be a blessing or a curse.

I think we are still in the market.

Mossy said a couple of months ago he wanted to strengthen the final third. He is still looking for two in that area. A fast winger in the Bernie mould and a more clinical striker and a second keeper would just about finish it.

Mossy just the other day:
" While he has also locked in the bulk
of his squad Moss confirmed he was
on the looked for new players.
“I’m looking far and wide for players
to bring in,’’ he said. “I want two
players in the attacking half, a
number nine to fight it out with
Dukey (Mitchell Duke) and Matty
(Matty Simon).
“I also want to bring in someone at
the back, especially on the right, to
give us a bit more depth in that
area.’’ "

i think simon'll be our top scorer this season:headbounce:

You have been smoking behind the sheds at Eastwood Oval ...

BTW yonks ago I was playing on the lower field we were defending the town side and there was a huge cross field wind heading towards the railway station...

I twas playing right back and a ball was placed through and it became a race me going across to clear and a striker heading towards .. the Gods smiled and I won the race and hoofed the ball as hard as I could and hit one of those balls that only get just over a meter off the ground and goes like a bullet ... some poor bloke on a motor bike leaving town I hit him on the head and to this day I don't know how he never fell off or ran into a car...
