ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Pay is low [low is to kind] .. but for anyone with the time and commitment and maybe wishing to build a media career this may suit .. IMO a great idea... from the club's site..

Want to write for ccmariners.com.au?

HERE at the Central Coast Mariners, we’re looking for two passionate fans/writers to contribute on a bi-weekly basis to the Club website.

As an official Club blogger, we will provide a platform for your Mariners inspired content to be read to by our increasing number of ccmariners.com.au users.

Additionally, we will promote your work on our expanding social media networks, helping you build your personal profile and portfolio of published pieces.

Like our assistant coach Phil Moss with “The Moss Pit”, your contributions will feature on our home page just under the competition ladders, with your headshot and name evident for everyone to see.

And, for exceptional wordsmiths who demonstrate insight, commitment and enthusiasm to their blog and to the Club, we will assist in providing you access to our players, coaches and management team throughout the season so your writing and interviewing skills can progress to an even greater level.

Aside from the chance to blog about football, the Hyundai A-League and most importantly your team, we will reward each official Club blogger with two complimentary tickets to every Central Coast Mariners match at Bluetongue Stadium throughout the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League, and the 2013 AFC Champions League Group Stage.

If you’re an aspiring sports journalist with the Mariners near to your heart, or a supporter eager to give writing about the Club a go, e-mail a sample Central Coast Mariners inspired blog to info@ccmariners.com.au before 5pm on Friday 27 July, 2012, with “Club Blogger” in the subject header.

I would love to do it but I might get in trouble if I dare to criticise little Micky McGlinchey!

I'd love to also but I don't believe I have the technical nous to be the best man for the job

I've followed "football" all my life, but not the football everyone on here follows. However I'm now a passionate Mariner fan, so I qualify in the area of commitment and enthusiasm. Whether I have insight and could be called an exceptional wordsmith is another question entirely; the answer will probably be given in the negative, but I think I'll have a go anyway.
