ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I remember reading somewhere about mid last year that FFA where in talks with  Hyundai and they wanted 19 million for naming rights over the next three years. Hyundai  baulked at the fee and BB said the A-League had proven itself so the 19 million stood.

I have neither hear or read anything since, anyone know what the latest is.

I can't remember where but I thought I've read a couple of times over the last couple of weeks that the new Hyundai deal was all but done and would be announced in the near future.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I have it right. Whether the media reports is accurate or not is entirely a different matter.

FFA and Hyundai continue partnership

Friday, 2 May 2008

We are delighted to announce that our partnership with our very good friends at Hyundai has been extended for an additional four seasons, said FFA CEO Ben Buckley.

Hyundai was the first major partner to take the leap of faith and invest in the A-League before anyone knew what to expect from the new competition.

BB mentioned that the money will help establish the expansion in season 5 so the new deal must be pretty substantial but he didnt mention any $ figure

actually 19 mill is a bargain if u consider its a pretty long agreement, especially if there are 2 or more new teams involved

The 19 mill was over three years so if the FFA held at 6.33 per year then it could be a big figure. It goes to the end of the 2011 /12 season so thats .............. 4 years ..... but its more than likely more money in one deal than FFA income from Hal 1.
