ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How has Wilko not been called up for socceroos squad action after his recent form? Has been playing alot stronger than north or thwaighte but they are consistently in the squad. It's about time
mariners got the recognition they deserve for the season so far !

I have been saying this for ages! At only 26 and having captained for like 4 years or something. He has played the most games out of any player in the league and is always consistent.

not necessarily as he is playing in a position where there is stiff competition even in the a-league - beauchamp, north, thwaite, durante, varagas, milicevic, devere, mckain etc

Well, if Melissavic is an option then Wilko must be a great chance. Seriously, the guy is a massive liability for team spirit and unity IMO.

disagree, newcastle has one of the best defences in the a-league and it stems from his immense leadership

Being very, very selfish I hope Wilko doesn't get a call-up. Not fair to him, I know, but I really don't want him missing from any of our matches.

You can have him on your team. I wouldn't have him on mine. Plenty of backs in the league that aren't prone to creating division and can still provide leadership.
