ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Who likes speculation? I like speculation!

We normally do a season prediction thread close to the season, but it's a long off-season and so we need to amuse ourselves in the meantime, so feel free to make an arse of yourself along with me and make some crazily speculative predictions for next season (and hope to hell nobody remembers this thread in about 10 months time!).

Champions - Queensland
Premiers - Melbourne
Mariners position on the ladder - 3rd
Mariners player of the season - Hutchinson
Mariners top scorer - Petrovski
A-League top scorer - Archie Thompson
Wooden Spoon - Perth
U20 player of the season - James Holland, though if I were gambling completely his young teammate Kantarovski would be getting my lazy tenner for a big payoff.
HAL Player of the season - Tom Pondeljak (hence Melbourne to be premiers)
Coach of the year - Van Egmond - he'll get the team working ok with limited personnel, and probably get the arse as soon as it's clear that in spite of his efforts they'll do a Melbourne and miss the finals.
Out of the Left Field prediction - Bottom four to all be within reach of the finals going into the last week.

I did well last time with my left field predictions - Branko to be sacked by R10 (bingo!), Victory missing finals, but alas Sydney made the finals and the Scum didn't come last!
