ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Two forums?

Two forums?

A quick one: why two forums for the one cause (Marinators)? Any plans to merge the two?

Cheers,

Jam8o, there are continuing discussions on doing just that. We just have to make sure that all bases are covered and fans are taken care of correctly. Much of the 'testing' on here is coming to an end I think and from all accounts, some kind of merger may happen sooner rather than later.

Has there been any further discussions when/if we may shut down the other forum and only use this 1?

Last I heard, Chris, Dibo & Adz were discussing the best way to go about it. I think Chris was trying to get an up to date 'active' email list to use? Haven't spoken to him since the gen meeting.

I agree, should just move over to this one asap. I can't be arsed going to other forum aswell to check on threads. Surely all that needs to happen is a message be left on the old one advising that this is the new forum. Then anyone that comes across the crappy old one will be directed to this nice new one.

when is the other forum going to be closed?
The PM sent to all on the Proboards stated we aim to close the old site in the week starting 17/12/2007 (and emails will go out over the next few days) but we are asking people to move asap.

its going to be sad to say goodbye to the other one as it has been the number 1 tool of procrastination when ive been trying to study :p, but i guess it is time to move on
