ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

TWG moving to Monday Night

Lets for a second forget SBS's past treatment of the A-League.

TWG is moving from it's traditional Sunday afternoon to Monday night at 9:30...

I think it is a smart move and could work... but only if they engage the A-League, FFA and not put up the rubbish they have in the past... and hopefully end their turf war with Fox...

But to have a football show after all games have been played open for discussion will be good on a FTA channel ... I also hope Fox provide them with a tad more A-League footage to use than they have in the past...

IMO this could go either way ... a huge success if SBS support FFA, A-League and the new coach who ever it is.... or it could fail if they find problems and issues with everything ... I fear the latter but hope for the former...

After the success of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, SBS is proud to announce the relaunch of its flagship football program The World Game as a new panel show.
The new format will premiere on Monday, August 2, on SBS TWO at 9.30pm AEST and SBS ONE at 11.30pm AEST.

The World Game has unparalleled authority and history in the Australian football landscape and will offer expert analysis and local perspective on all facets of football.

The panel will feature Les Murray, Craig Foster, David Basheer, Mariana Rudan, Vitor Sobral, Scott McIntyre and a host of other selected football experts.

With a Monday night time slot, The World Game will become the last word on the weekend, reviewing all the results and action from the previous weekend, including regular live crosses to interstate and overseas locations and guests to give you the full picture on the game across the globe.

The show will comprehensively cover every league and tournament - from the UEFA Champions League, Spanish Primera Division and Serie A (Italy) to the A-League (Australia) and English Premier League, and much more.

With an exciting new studio set and fresh visual style, there will also be an emphasis on greater audience interaction through our award-winning website as well as The World Game's Facebook and Twitter destinations.

A regular panel of domestic and international experts, analysts and guests will be present every week to debate and discuss the big talking points in the game.

SBS Head of Sport, Ken Shipp, said: "The World Game is Australia's most popular and well-known football brand. Each year, the program and the website have continued to evolve to best satisfy the needs of our growing audience. This new timeslot and format is our best ever and it will ensure that The World Game remains the No.1 option for football fans."

Using its strengths of experience, impartiality and a global perspective, The World Game offers a fresh, contemporary take on the game, while keeping with SBS's football traditions.
