As some of you (SOME of you) would know, I am the guy who starts new chants on the trains to/ from the game. In this spirit, I wrote this as a rap on my thoughts about what's taken place this last week:

Now we dont always whinge after each game we lose
But now were onto your games of pick and choose
We are the smaller group who you try to oppress
As you feed the big fish who you want to impress
Whatever you think, we deserve to make it
You try to f**k us over but we wont take it
Better not take us lightly, this is the voice of many
It started with Breeze and its still here with Danny
Didnt think wed be much when you started this comp
You just dreamed of the big teams winning in a romp
Sydney and Melbourne and the Glory too
But we had something to show you
We had to work hard with what we had
But compared to most we werent that bad
Started to worry the big boys might not win
I suppose beating Sydney is a footballing sin?
Beat a lot of teams that we werent meant to
Thats when it began to seem you were hell-bent to
Throw everything you could to destroy our season
Red cards and penalties for bullshit reasons
Matthew Breeze even earned the wrath of Jesus
And Joel Griffiths can act how the f**k he pleases
I guess it only matters what team you play for
We didnt want to think that the refs were paid for
But everytime you screwed us, you screwed us some more
Winning fair the only thing that wed ever sing for
Still the turnstyles clicked every second weekend
Cheering on our team from beginning to end
Other teams couldnt knock us off the top of the ladder
Even though you tried to hand them it on a platter
The trophy was ours, it was there lifted high
A yellow ground full with our fists in the sky
But this story of bullshit aint done with yet
In the first semi final we can never forget
How Breeze screwed us over in front of the Jets
Thought you had us put away next time we met
But that phoney two-nil scoreline still couldnt contain us
We won Three-zip after you tried to shame us
We were fired up and could you blame us?
Turned it into the night that made us famous
Onto the last day, crowds filled the stands
To watch a game controlled by one incompetent man
They scored first, we were looking to draw
Everyone saw the penalty he chose to ignore
He screwed us over and Danny couldve done a shitload more
He went easy on the man for such a f**ked up call
Didnt get his balls grabbed but he still said Red Card him!
The big one over, but theres new shit just started
They lifted the toilet seat handed away
Thanks to one man in black and his shocking display
Penalty we even heard the linesman say
But he chose to turn around and ask the other way
Still it wasnt enough to rip off our side
You went after Danny and took him for a ride
No way is slapping refs hands the worst that weve seen
But he might as well have decked him cause you gave him fifteen
Try to make an example out of one young man
By giving him a ridiculous nine month ban
No accountability needed for the refs mistake
A fair and just decision that he wouldnt make
You try to wipe us out before a brand new season
You want to see growth but give us one good reason
Why any of us here should support the FFA
When they have different rules depending who plays
You try to kick our legs out but well continue to stand
We wont back down to the corruption at hand
You cant pretend like we cant see whats planned
That for our guys, even swearing gets a year long ban
